Moderation, notices and complaints

How to report content, how Zusio decides, and how to challenge a decision.

Reporting in the app

Profiles, meetups, messages and shared calendar entries can be reported from the relevant content. Choose the closest category, add facts and confirm that the report is made in good faith. My Reports shows the reference and handling status.

External DSA notice

Anyone may use the structured form at https://zusio.app/en/report without an account. Identify the exact electronic location, explain why the information is illegal and provide any legal basis you know. Provide your name and email unless the statutory child-sexual-abuse exception applies. A reference and secret access code confirm receipt and allow status checks.

Review and priority

Notices are checked at least on Austrian business days. Immediate danger and child-safety matters are prioritised. Automated rules may identify duplicates or urgency but do not by themselves establish illegality. Review considers the content, context, applicable law, terms and proportionality.

Statement of reasons

Where required, the affected person and notifier receive the decision scope, facts and circumstances, legal or contractual ground, information about automation and available redress. Internal safety information and another person’s data may be withheld where necessary and lawful.

Internal complaint

Use the reference and access code in the reporting form to challenge a decision. Account measures can be challenged in Settings. Complaints are free and accepted for at least six months after notification of the decision. A sufficiently qualified person who was not merely applying an automated result reviews the complaint.

Further redress

Judicial remedies, a complaint to the competent Digital Services Coordinator and, where available, certified out-of-court dispute settlement remain available. In Austria, KommAustria acts as Digital Services Coordinator and RTR provides information.

Misuse and confidentiality

Repeated manifestly unfounded notices or complaints may be restricted only after a proportionate case-specific assessment and warning where required. Reporter identities are not disclosed merely because a report was made. Confidentiality may be limited by law, due process or necessary defence.

Authorities and emergencies

Contact support@zusio.app for authorised orders and official communication. Suspected criminal offences involving a threat to life or safety may require notification under Article 18 DSA. Zusio is not a 24/7 emergency service; use local emergency services for immediate danger.
