Storage used by the website and app and how optional tracking would be handled.
Website
The public website is designed without advertising cookies or optional analytics in the reviewed code. Hosting necessarily processes connection data such as IP address, time, requested path and security information. The live deployment must be rechecked because host configuration can change actual processing.
App
The app stores session, language and functional state locally, including a random push installation ID, seen or hidden feed items and permission explanations. Local storage supports the requested functions. Clearing a cache is not equivalent to account deletion.
Optional technologies
Before adding non-essential analytics, advertising or similar device access, Zusio must identify the legal basis, provide advance information, obtain prior consent where required and offer an effective withdrawal. A banner alone is insufficient.
