Terms of use
Rules for using Zusio, organising meetups, chats, calendars and accounts.
Provider and scope
These terms govern use of Zusio by consumers. The joint providers and contracting parties are Paul Batthyany and Leon Holluschek, Helfentalweg 2, 6020 Innsbruck, Austria. Contact: support@zusio.app. Separate Apple terms apply to App Store distribution and purchases where stated by Apple.
Eligibility and account
You must be at least 13 years old and provide accurate information. Where applicable law also requires permission from a parent or legal representative, a higher minimum age or stronger age assurance, the account may be used only after those requirements are met. Accounts are personal and may not be transferred. Protect access codes and devices and notify us of suspected misuse.
Service
Zusio supports friendships, meetup planning, event chats, personal and shared calendars, notifications and optional Zusio+ features. Hosts remain responsible for the meetup they create. Zusio is not an emergency, transport, supervision or event-organising service and does not guarantee that a person, place or meetup is safe or accurate.
User content and licence
You retain rights in your content. You grant Zusio a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence limited to hosting, reproducing, transmitting, displaying, adapting to technical formats, moderating and backing up that content as needed to operate, secure and legally administer the service. The licence ends when the content and operational backups are deleted, except for copies lawfully retained as evidence or held by recipients.
Only upload content you may lawfully use. Do not publish private addresses, personal data or recordings of others without a lawful basis or required permission.
Prohibited conduct
Harassment, threats, hate, sexual exploitation, child endangerment, unlawful content, impersonation, fraud, spam, malware, circumvention of access controls and infringement of privacy or intellectual-property rights are prohibited. The Community Guidelines form part of these terms.
Moderation and complaints
Content may be restricted or removed and accounts may be warned, limited, suspended or banned where this is necessary and proportionate for the terms, safety or law. We provide reasons and redress information where required. Reports do not automatically determine an outcome. Internal complaints are free, normally available for at least six months after a decision, and receive human review.
Availability and updates
We aim to provide the service reliably but do not promise uninterrupted availability. Maintenance, security events, network failure or provider outages may interrupt functions. Updates may be required for security, compatibility or legal compliance. Mandatory consumer rights and statutory update obligations remain unaffected.
Liability
We do not exclude liability where exclusion is unlawful, including for intent, gross negligence, personal injury, mandatory product or consumer law and expressly assumed guarantees. For ordinary negligence, liability may be limited only as permitted by law and with regard to essential contractual duties. Users remain responsible for their conduct and meetups.
Termination and deletion
You may stop using Zusio and delete the account in the app at any time. Account deletion is permanent and follows the deletion notice. It does not cancel an Apple subscription. We may terminate or restrict access for a serious or repeated breach, legal necessity or service discontinuation, subject to required notice and redress.
Law and changes
Austrian law applies without depriving consumers of mandatory protection in their country of habitual residence. Statutory consumer venues remain available. We announce material changes and request renewed acceptance where required. The version and checksum identify the accepted terms.
